When thinking about collaboration, it’s easy to assume that all businesses have the same needs or think about collaboration in the same way. Enterprises clearly have larger scale and more complex needs than SMBs, and that entails longer sales cycles and deeper integration challenges. SMBs may be distinct from enterprises in this regard, but it would be a mistake to view them as a singular market.
Taken together, SMBs account for the vast majority of business entities, so the critical mass is too large to ignore. However, within that mass, there are at least two main segments.
